Refused entry to Egypt, we booked a last-minute flight to see a different pyramid in Tirana, Albania. We loved it immediately, and we ended up staying for a couple of months to explore this incredible country full of ancient ruins, Mediterranean shorelines, almost empty beaches, epic mountainscapes, and a truly interesting culture.
