wHAT cAMERA DO YOU USE?

Our Workhorse- The Sony A7III

This baby isn’t cheap, but it is a full- frame mirrorless with excellent pixel quality, and I like the Sony color settings. The menu is a bit of a turd to get used to, but all in all, we love this baby.

When in Motion- GoPro Hero 7

Honestly, this one needs an upgrade; there are newer ones out there, but it still does the job, especially for high-flying and underwater adventures. Make sure to get the kit so you have all the different mounts.

For Sound- Rode VideoMicro

Honestly, this is the place we have had the most trouble. Our sound has been a nightmare since day one, but I think it is the port on our camera, not the actual mics. (We bought it used.) Lots of people use this one and have no issues.

The Daily Lens- Sony EPZ 18-105mm G Series

This is our most versatile lens. We use it most days, especially on photo-heavy days.

The Close-Up Guru- Sony SELP 1650

We use this one primarily for vlogging, especially if there is going to be a day where we are talking to camera in selfie mode, one of us is by ourselves, etc. We also use this to shoot photos in tight places like city streets. It adjusts from 16-60mm so you get a bit of zoom, but all in a tight window.

WE LOVE THIS BAG! In fact, we love it so much that we have bought it twice. When our first one finally broke down in Ukraine, I had a team member from the States pack me a new one and deliver it. I love this baby. It’s the perfect size, look, feel, quality, and is easy to carry. Unfortunately, this one is no longer available on Amazon, but hopefully you can still find it somewhere.

The Aerial One- The DJI Mini

We like this drone because it weighs under 250G which means you don’t need a license to fly it, and it bypasses most countries’ issues with drones. ALWAYS check, though; some countries, like Nicaragua, have strict no-drone rules.

The Big Boy- Dell XPS 15

Keeps us editing while on the road, without losing our minds. Plenty of memory, plenty of RAM, runs quickly and efficiently. Heavy, but that’s the tradeoff.

The Bendy Wonder- Joby Tripod

This guy holds a lot of weight and will wrap itself around just about anything.
